Wirazone Sdn Bhd (Wirazone) was incorporated on the 20th January 1996 to undertake the development of an Electrical Distribution System (EDS) within the Kuala Lumpur Sentral Development (KLS) and a Centralized Chilled Water Plant (CCWP) for Plaza Sentral office suites.

Wirazone was granted a license by the Energy Commission (formerly known as Jabatan Bekalan Elektrik Dan Gas) under Section 9 of the Electricity Supply Act 1990, to distribute and sell electricity. Under the 21-year license, Wirazone purchases electricity in bulk from Tenaga Nasional (TNB) and then distributes the electricity to its customers, within the Kuala Lumpur Sentral exclusively. Wirazone is able to distribute up to 60MW of electricity demand at 33kV and below.

The company also provides chilled water for air-conditioning purposes to Plaza Sentral, KL Sentral’s office complex through its Centralized Chilled Water Plant. The plant capacity is 7000 Refrigerant Tonne (RT) supplying to four blocks of office building.
